ThreatFire 3.0 - Application for protecting the system against viruses, spyware, trojan horses, malware, keyloggers, rootkits, buffer overflows and coming from the Internet or network and sent by hackers or dangerous web sites.
Once installed and the program is launched, it shows an Security Status screen displaying Events Analyzed and Programs Examined, as well as the possible strange activity detected or blocked.
The application keeps on surveying the system activity checkin programs and processes behaviors. If an abnormal activity is detected and the threat causing is a known danger, the program automatically takes it to a quarantine without any user action needed. If the threat is unknown, the applications alerts the user showing all the information about the suspect program or process, so he(she) decides to allow its operation or quarantine te detected threat.
From the initial window the user can start a complete system scan whenever he(she) wants, see the detected items quarantined by the threat control, set custom rules settings for detecting unknown threats (along with the pre fixed on the program), and fix all the operation settings such as to enable the permanent protection, establish the protection level, check for updates, send new detected threats to help the community, program language, set system restore points for easier recovering, and schedule the system scans in automatic mode.
